Dora Chapter No. 2, O.E.S.
Gladys Chandler, Worthy Matron
Meeting on the 2nd Friday of each month at 8:00 PM

    Greetings Sisters and Brothers,

In 2002 we had a lot of sickness and distress in our homes and Chapter. I am sending my “Best Wishes” that each of you will be blessed with good health and happiness for 2003. Remember our prayers are with you.

Our proficiency classes started January 5th at Sister Anna Lorenz’s home in Crestview. We have a big class. If you would like to renew your proficiency, please join us. You are always welcome.

I would like to thank Sisters Cheryl and Amie Buschle, Lois Hall and Ruby Stamper for helping me with the Installation Dinner for Br. Keith Dreier. Dora Chapter will be very busy for the next four to five months preparing and serving dinners. Br. Pat Hart, Past Grand Patron, has asked us to prepare and serve dinner for the DeMolay on February 1st at the Scottish Rite Temple. On April 1st we will be preparing and serving dinner for the District Deputy Grand Master of District 27 at the Scottish Rite Temple. We will also prepare and serve dinner for Br. Tom Wheeler, District Deputy Grand Master of District 28 on April 29th at the Newport Masonic Temple. We will need all the help we can get to serve and clean up at these dinners.

Officers, please be prepared for Initiation at our Inspection on April 26th. Also continue studying for the proficiency test and plan to take it with us during the School of Instruction. We want to support our District Deputy Grand Matron, Sr. Libby Fooks and Br. Keith Dreier, our District Deputy Grand Patron. Br. Donald Webster and I also need your support as we will be sitting in the east as Worthy Patron and Worthy Matron for the School of Instruction.

The “Out to Lunch” Bunch will be at Joe’s Crab Shack in Bellevue at 3PM on Sunday February 23rd. Please join us for an afternoon of fun.

Until the next time, God bless each of you,

    Gladys Chandler, W.M.
