Master's Message
March, 2003

    Brothers,

Hopefully, by the time you read this, spring will be just around the corner and the weather will start to feel like spring. I think we have all had enough snow for the last month. I guess we can’t complain, but the last several years with little snow sure was nice!!

Our new Entered Apprentice is coming along just fine under the instruction of Gary Raleigh. Gary hopes to have him ready for the first meeting in March to receive his Fellow Craft Degree.

Just to let everyone know, we have begun repair, again, on our roof. It should be completed as soon as the weather breaks. My intention is to see that we fix this roof and then repair the ceiling where we have problems and then repaint the lodge hall. I will be seeking help from everyone to repaint the lodge hall. I am preparing plans to raise enough money to do this project and also, hopefully, get enough brethren to help paint it. Any advice or help would be appreciated. As all of you know, we have one of the best lodge halls in Northern Kentucky!

We have had a great response from some of our brethren concerning the following event, so I wanted to again let everyone know about the great event in June. There is going to be a special event this summer that is going to be a great event. A lodge from the Indian Reservation from Oklahoma is coming to Louisville on June 7 to put on the MM Degree. This event is sponsored by the Louisville Scottish Rite and the Grand Lodge of Kentucky. I am going to get tickets for anyone who wishes to go to see the great event. The tickets are $10.00 each. If you would like to attend please let me know as soon as possible so I can make sure we get enough tickets for everyone. If we get enough participation we could possibly get a bus to take everyone. Please call or email me at 859-331-7240 or email at keith@one.net.

Hope to see you all at lodge in the coming months and I hope everyone is looking forward to spring! Don’t forget our monthly breakfast on March 2nd.

Fraternally Thine,

Keith Dreier
